A little about me. I have been working in Health and Social Care for the past 32 years. My career as a carer started when my children were young. I thought it would be glamorous! We were Nursing Auxillaries back then. I soon learned that this was not just a job but a true vocation. I could not imagine another career and have loved every minute, including the highs and the lows. I worked hard to gain my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and have managed a number of homes across Dorset. When I was looking for my current role I was seeking much more than just a Manager’s post. It was more about the company values and the feel of the home that I would be managing. Peninsula Care Homes are very much about the care of the residents, which is evident from the owners of the company. I am so excited to be a part of the journey of Parkland House, seeing how the service progresses and grows over the coming months.
