They take the time to get to know you well, working in partnership with you to provide the right support, based on your individual needs. There is always plenty of laughter and friendly conversation, you can feel confident you will be treated with dignity and empathy.
All of our team have access to ongoing training and development so that we can continue to meet our standard of exceptional care. This covers core areas such as first aid, food hygiene, wound care and safeguarding, as well as specialist areas such as dementia care, ensuring we keep up to date with the latest guidance and thinking. We combine traditional learning with hands-on experiences, such as a Virtual Dementia Tour, which gives staff an excellent insight into what living with dementia might be like.
As a Mindful Employer, all of our managers have completed mental health and wellbeing training. We are committed to creating a supportive and open culture for our team which, in turn, leads to an inclusive and welcoming community for everybody in our homes.
