What a day! Yesterday, we gathered our managers and team members for an away day training session, focusing on emergency evacuation during a fire. We reviewed fire safety procedures, updated our evacuation plans, and tested response times using stopwatches from recent drills!
Our central support team audited individual’s PEEPs and helping fine-tune our evacuation plans. It’s all part of our dedication to improving our care for residents and ensuring our teams are always prepared. We will be carrying out similar evacuation planning drills in our homes.
We ended the day with a fun quiz created by our fantastic central support administrator, who started with Peninsula through the Kickstart programme. From being shy and reserved, they confidently led the quiz and brought great energy. Congrats to the winners who walked away with bubbly and chocolates!
