Armchair travels to Norway

Posted on

Armchair travels took Parkland House residents all the way to Norway to see the northern lights. Armed with their passports and information leaflets, off they flew! They even got to sample some Norwegian chocolate chip pancakes. As a momento of our residents trip, each were given their own certificate of travel. Our imagination is such a powerful tool in stimulating and helping us to remember past experiences. The stories of our residents past travels can help emotionally and bring richness to both the resident and those whom they share their journey with.

This was such a successful and enjoyable activity, that Lisa our Lifestyle Lead, will be looking to explore another destination in the not too distant future.
