The house is a former vicarage, which has been extended and converted to provide care and support to residents. We are incredibly proud of our home and the quality of care provided. The home has recently been refurbished and we would love to show you around.
Our team
We are so proud of our team at Plymbridge House who provide the best lived experience. They provide care, company and laughter, expertise and kindness. We have a varied activities programme including arts and crafts, cooking and quizzes. Our communal rooms have been refurbished, including a light-filled conservatory and lounges. Our team are skilled, highly knowledgeable and have great professional working relationships with district nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
Healthy nutritious meals
All our meals are home-cooked by our culinary team. The large dining room allows for sociable mealtimes, with the opportunity to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals in a relaxing environment.
Our bedrooms
Many of our bedrooms have an ensuite wc and hand basin. Our communal bathrooms offer a choice of bathing facilities, with assisted baths and showers.
Dementia care at Plymbridge
All of our staff receive comprehensive dementia care training, with an emphasis on supporting people as individuals, recognising emotional needs and how to communicate well.
Award-winning gardens
We are very lucky to have extensive grounds, with lawns and mature trees and shrubs. A seated area at the back of the home surrounded by flowers makes a wonderful spot to while away a sunny afternoon. We also have a large patio area, where you can enjoy dinner, help out with some gardening or simply sitting outdoors. We are proud to have won many Plymouth in Bloom awards over the years.
